Kane Queensland awarded Anzac Square Redevelopment Stage 4

13th June, 2018

Following the restoration works completed by Kane Queensland in 2015, we are pleased to be awarded the fourth and final stage of the Anzac Square Redevelopment. This is a landmark project, not only for the City of Brisbane, but also for the State of Queensland.

This stage of the project is at the lower level facing Adelaide Street and is designed to conserve and enhance the public presentation, access and amenity of the square and to reaffirm its significance as Queensland’s preeminent memorial in Brisbane.

Kane has extensive experience in undertaking restoration projects in Brisbane including Old Government House, Albert Street Church, City Hall and Roma Street Station. Our heritage expertise combined with our pool of quality tradesmen will ensure the return of Anzac Square to its former historical glory.

The project team have commenced site establishment, erecting fencing and temporary protection works.

The project is due for completion in February 2019.
