Kane Constructions have undertaken a $4m refurbishment of four floors within Brisbane's 240 Queen Street high-rise building, right in the heart of the CBD.
One of the challenges we worked with was maintaining an operational environment for ASIC throughout the project. The site was operational for 20 hours per day/7 days per week (6am-2am), hence our team were particularly aware of noise constraints during this period.
With four other construction projects within the building occurring at the same time and only one goods lift, deliveries had to be intricately programmed with the Facilities Manager.
Works included a complete demolition, removal and installation of new services, security walls, ceilings, floor coverings, joinery and furniture.
The end result was a 5 star quality fitout which adhered to Federal Government Specifications.
