The Blacktown Hospital Refurbishment – Phase 1 works fall within the Blacktown Mt Druitt Stage 1 and COAG Sub Acute Projects.
The works included expansion of the existing Gas Store, construction of a Biomed parking/skip bin slab, expansion of the existing Mortuary, Minor Construction works for new staff dining/cafeteria, construction of a new Biomedical Engineering Department, Expansion of the existing Kitchen, expansion of the existing Engineering and Maintenance Department, reconfiguration of the existing Health Records Store (HIRS), construction of a Central Equipment Loan Pool Department, refurbishment of an existing Operating Theatre, construction of a new Catheter/DIL Laboratory and expansion of the existing Catheter/DIL Laboratory support areas.
