The project involved the construction of a multipurpose sports facility and the refurbishment of existing external landscaped areas for Mosman Council.
Kane were engaged directly by Mosman Council during the construction phase and were responsible for all aspects of construction from trades to services. The facility can accommodate local Netball, Basketball and Indoor Soccer teams and was a very welcome addition to the community.
Due to design changes during the construction period, problems were faced with the functionality of the proposed services and equipment. Kane worked with both the consultants and subcontractors to determine the best solution into what systems of work and items would allow the building to be fit for purpose.
Understanding and developing changes in design to suit user requirements during the construction phase resulted in minimal impact on costs.
