Design and construction of the new Chancellery at Monash University.

The new 10,000m2 building comprises a single basement level for car parking, ground level public spaces, two levels of office space and a third level to house the University executive.

The striking design includes a feature steel sunshade screen that wraps all elevations of the thermally enhanced facade. The building has been designed to incorporate Passive House principles and in accordance with the Monash University EcoAccord. Internally there is are multiple large atrium spaces framed by feature mass timber feature balustrades.

A large stoa forms the main pedestrian access to the building with a series of columns framed with work by local artists.

Works commence in September 2018 and will be complete for 2020 university calendar.
