This project comprised the complete refurbishment and fitout of the six level Engineering Building at the Swinburne University campus in Hawthorn.
Kane Constructions was awarded the $5 million lump sum contract in late 2005 with the works requiring completion ahead of the commencement of Semester 2, 2006. To meet the non-negotiable deadline, a night shift was planned and implemented, running in parallel with the day works.
The project was successfully completed in May 2006.
