Kane was awarded the new vertical and state of the art $33M TLC Aged Care Clifton Hill Integrated Health Care Hub in November 2016.
Located on busy Queens Parade in Clifton Hill, the 10 level vertical high density design of the TLC Integrated Health Care Hub has won international praise and an award for 'The Most Innovative Aged Care Housing Design Globally' at the Over 50s Global Housing Awards.
The project is a high end aged care facility incorporating an integrated health hub comprising of:
- 10 level building with 1 basement
- 127 SOU rooms (including 2 accessible SOU’s)
- Basement car parking
- Associated rest home ancillary spaces
- Associated communal spaces
- Healthcare to include two GP’s clinics
- Nurse treatment
- Gymnasium and;
- Physio suite
The building is constructed of precast concrete panel walls and post tensioned slab with clay louvres to the façade on level 3 to level 7 with curtain wall glazing to levels 8 to 9 and light weight roof over. Terraced areas are on level 1, 2 and 8.
Practical Completion is scheduled for the second quarter of 2018.
