Jonathan Forster established the company in 1973 and was Managing Director until 2001 when he became Executive Chairman. President of the Master Builders Association Victoria (1998-2000) and Honorary Life Member, Deputy President of the Master Builders Association Australia (2000-2002), President of the Retirement Village Association (1992-1995) and Honorary Life Member, Director of Redundancy Payment Central Fund Ltd - Incolink (1997-2006), Director of OFG Ltd and The Over Fifties Friendly Society (1999-2007), Director and Chairman of Holmesglen TAFE (2007-2013) and a number of other private companies involved in construction, property investment and retirement villages.

Richard commenced employment with Kane Constructions in January 2005 and was appointed Joint Managing Director in 2017.
Richard's background comprises project delivery. His thorough practical knowledge, experience, skills in negotiating and commercial focus ensures Richard is well known and respected in the industry.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Building Engineering) from Victoria University and a Master of Business Administration from University of Melbourne.

Tristan joined Kane Constructions in 2002 having previously worked for Multiplex in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
At Kane he led teams delivering a wide variety of projects prior to transitioning into the role of Business Development Manager in late 2007.
Tristan was appointed as a Director in 2009 and Joint Managing Director in 2017.
Tristan holds a Bachelor of Planning and Design, Bachelor of Property and Construction and a Master of Business Administration from University of Melbourne.
Geoff joined Kane Constructions in 1993. Having delivered many successful projects in Victoria, Geoff relocated to NSW in 2005 as Construction Manager before later becoming the NSW General Manager/Director in 2006 before returning to Victoria in 2012.
Geoff has completed major projects with Kane ranging from restoration, refurbishment, new construction, civil and marine works in a wide range of sectors including health, education, commercial, defence, recreational, specialised upgrade works and performing art facilities. He thrives on the challenge of the diverse and complex projects and with his experience provides a problem solving approach.
As Director Geoff is involved in all aspects of the business and with over 20 years’ experience provides leadership and support to all departments of the business.

David joined Kane Constructions in 2000 having worked on several landmark projects including Melbourne’s Crown Casino and Federation Square.
He was appointed as a Director in 2006.
David founded the Queensland branch of Kane in 2006 and is involved intimately in all Queensland projects from the time of tender through to completion. His main focus is to ensure that Kane delivers a quality project that meets all stakeholders expectations of success and to develop ongoing relationships with clients and consultants.
David holds a BSA Builder-Open Licence, as well as several tertiary qualifications including a Bachelor of Planning & Design (University of Melbourne), a Bachelor of Building (University of Melbourne), a Graduate Diploma of Property (RMIT University) and a Masters of Business Administration (University of Queensland).
He is also a member of the Property Council of Australia and the Queensland Master Builders Association.
Steve commenced with Kane Constructions in 1997 after graduating from RMIT. He is a highly valued senior manager who has successfully delivered over twenty projects across a range of sectors including science and technology, health, commercial, tertiary and heritage restoration.
Steve is a pragmatic and solutions focused leader, and a firm believer in the benefits of a collaborative team environment. His strong work ethic, technical skills and collaborative approach ensures positive project outcomes.
As a director of Kane, Steve's focus is on construction delivery within our Victorian operations.
Andrew joined Kane Constructions in 2017 as a director having previously been general manager of the Victorian, South Australian and ACT divisions of Adco Constructions.
Andrew has over 20 years of construction experience across a broad range of industry sectors and has been responsible for major projects for both private and government clients.
As a director of Kane, Andrew is focused on new business, strategic input to bids and project oversight in our Victorian division, and overall management of our newly established ACT division.
As a member of Kane Board, Andrew assists in setting the strategic direction of the company.

Richard joined Kane Constructions in 2000 as a Project Manager, becoming a Director and shareholder in 2007.
His vast experience in construction includes senior positions with design and project management consultancies and large and medium sized construction companies both in Australia and overseas.
Richard has extensive experience in large complex projects and civil engineering structures. During his time with Kane, Richard has been responsible for delivering our most prestigious projects including Skilled Stadium, Royal Children’s Hospital, Tabcorp Park and Swinburne University ATC.
His thorough practical knowledge and experience, skills in negotiating and commercial focus make him a highly valued member of the Board.

Tony Isaacson commenced with Kane Constructions in 1979 and was appointed as Managing Director in 2001.
Prior to assuming the role of Construction Director in 1986, Tony worked with Kane as an Estimator, Contracts Administrator and Project Manager.
His interest in traditional and contemporary construction technology , restoration and management systems has directed the companies dominance in these areas.
Tony is a 'hands on' Director, working closely with project teams in the planning, construction strategies, subcontracting and client and architect representation.
He coordinates enthusiastic and expert professional teams in estimating, cost planning and construction operations across the three state offices as well as the overseas operations, and is closely involved in client and consultant liaison at pre and post construction stages.
In December 2016 Tony retired as Managing Director and now fulfills a non-executive role.
