Kane Constructions has been shortlisted to deliver two major new buildings for University of Melbourne at the Parkville and Werribee campuses.
The Western Edge Biosciences (WEBS) program will create a world-class precinct for biosciences teaching, research, and training. It will improve research performance and learning experience in the biosciences, and help train the next generation of bio scientists, vets, and doctors. The program will also meet requirements for the global accreditation of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program in 2020, safeguarding the only accredited veterinary course in Victoria.
Work for 2017-2019 includes WEBS Stage 1 at the Parkville campus and Werribee Redevelopment at the Werribee campus.
Kane was engaged in early 2017 to deliver the early works for WEBS Stage 1.
