Kane have continued our working relationship with the Greenslopes Private Hospital, this time undertaking demolition and fitout works within the live operational hospital environment.
Following on from several months of demolition and rectification works to accommodate two new tenancies within the lower ground floor of the hospital, Kane began works on one of the new tenancies, the fitout for Queensland X-Ray. The project includes special radiation shielding in the form of both lead ceilings, and concrete bunkers. The area also has radiation monitoring detection systems integrated into it. Once completed, Greenslopes Private Hospital will have the capability to carry out PET Camera scans within this new facility.
Works on this project were completed in mid 2017.
