The project was a negotiated lump sum design and construct contract.
The primary aim of the project was to provide a Data and UPS room to accommodate new data infrastructure to services the Gold Coast campus of Griffith University. Works involved modifying existing storerooms, installing computer floors and managing the installation of the data works.
During the same period, the existing Chiller Enclosure was being expanded to suit new mechanical equipment. Kane worked alongside a separate mechanical contractor and modified the existing chiller enclosure to suit new equipment, including bored piers, reinforced blockwork, louvers and gates.
