The $3M Lump Sum GSK Block 2 BFS HVAC Upgrade Project primarily consists of the construction of a new enclosed above roof plantroom located over an existing operational pharmaceutical batching facility for GSK.

The new plantroom accommodates HVAC plant and equipment and associated base-building services in order to relocate HVAC systems from an existing in-roof plantroom to above the roof and also provide future proofing for the existing facility.

Works also included decommissioning, demolition and disposal of all redundant HVAC and associated building services within the existing below in-roof plantroom including pipework, ductwork, wiring and ancillary items including supports and cable trays.

The project reached substantial completion in March 2016 with the new above roof plantroom being delivered in a staged manner between December 2015 and December 2016 in line with GSK requirements to achieve operation continuity of the existing facility.
