This was the first of three projects Kane undertook at the University of Sydney Camden Campus to upgrade their teaching facilities.

The $5m works included the construction a two new buildings, the Wildlife Health and Conservation Centre and General Teaching Building, associated car parking, footpaths, landscaping, infrastructure all in conjunction with the existing JL Shute building.

The structure involved concrete foundations and structural steel frame, metal cladding/roofing, external glazing a full internal fit out. Key elements of the project include facilities for the treatment of animal including operation suites, holding facilities and associated administration.

This highly detailed and architectural project was successfully delivered and Kane were later awarded the Lecture theatre and Camden Multiple works packages further adding to the strong relationship formed between The University of Sydney and Kane.
