Refurbishment and fitout of a lecture theatre at the University of Melbourne completed within an eight week timeframe over the christmas break in 2011.
Key lead time materials and equipment were pre-ordered to ensure the tight construction program could be achieved. Works were completed on time ahead of commencement of the 2012 university year.
The multifaceted plasterboard ceiling required particular attention to detail with setout and coordination of services such as lighting, audio visual equipment and mechanical registers.
