The EastCoast Apprenticeships Annual Awards for 2013 were held on Thurdsay 10 October where Kane Constructions were a finalist in the category of Carpentry Host Employer of the Year.
Kane has partnered with EastCoast Apprenticeships for over 5 years in Queensland and have continuously hosted several apprentices at any one time. While Kane benefits from the skills these students have already gained during their first year or two in the housing industry, it also gives the Apprentices the opportunity to build on their skills in the commercial sector across a variety of projects under construction.
Both John Croxon and Daniel Jeffreys (finalists for Apprentices of the Year) have been hosted by Kane Constructions for the past 2 years and completed their Apprenticeship this year with EastCoast Apprenticeships. They are now employed full time with Kane, enhancing their skillset on a daily basis.
