Opening of Prahran, Richmond public housing

Two major building projects delivered by Kane Constructions were officially opened during the last seven days by the Minister for Housing, Wendy Lovell. 

On Tuesday 2 July, the first stage of the $62 million Horace Petty Estate redevelopment - top photo - in Prahran was opened. Ms Lovell was joined by Federal Member for Higgins Kelly O’Dwyer, Member for Prahran Clem Newton-Brown, Member for Southern Metropolitan Region Georgie Crozier, Stonnington Councillors, architects DesignInc and tenants.

Whilst today, Minister for Housing Wendy Lovell joined Senator Gavin Marshall, representing Federal Minister for Housing Julie Collins along with representatives of Yarra City Council, Kane Constructions, and tenants to officially open the new $70 million development at Richmond’s Elizabeth Street public housing estate - bottom three photos - designed by Williams Boag architects.
