Supporting the Barwon Health Foundation

19th November, 2012

The Geelong Gala Day on Saturday saw the Kane Constructions Truck make its fifth appearance in support of the Barwon Health Foundation.

The first parade made its way through the streets of Geelong during World War I, in 1916.

Gala Day is aimed at three to 12-year-olds and their families and it is still a very special day for children.

Barwon Health Foundation executive director Gavin Seidel said the event was not organised just to raise funds.

"Gala Day is not all about fundraising, it is an opportunity for the Barwon Health Foundation to give back to the community that so generously supports the Geelong Hospital Appeal all year round," he said.
