Kane Constructions has been awarded the contract to deliver the Fairfield Showground Amenities Building for Fairfield City Council.
Situated between the newly surfaced sporting fields, this is certainly no ordinary amenities block!
The single storey multipurpose building will include a community space, kitchen/canteen, offices, change rooms, bathrooms, first aid rooms, gym, storage and undercover outdoor stage.
The structural steel building is enveloped by masonry, glazing and metalwork.
The Aramax roofing offers a unique feature to the building and provides a practical function to achieve the required spans and cantilevers.
Set to service the community for festivals, cultural and large sporting events, construction of the new amenities building forms part of Fairfield City Council’s Stage 1 Master Plan.
Works commenced on-site in July 2019 and progress is well underway.
