Early on Saturday morning the tower crane was installed at our University of Technology Sydney CB04 Infill Extension project. The location of the site - being effectively landlocked - presents several logistical challenges.
Weeks of detailed planning saw busy Harris Street closed to enable the installation to take place. From commencement of the first lift to completion of the last, the tower crane was installed in a record time of only four hours!

With excavation nearing completion, works have commenced on the structure. The only way is up!
The $35 million project involves construction of a new eight level science and research facility. Works are due for completion in Q4 2020.
