Iglu Flagstaff is located at 407 King Street in West Melbourne. The new tower rises through the centre of an existing heritage-listed office building - Flagstaff House.
The building structure has progressed from the lower ground level to its recently completed Level 14 slab.
Despite the recent industry restrictions, the project has maintained steady progression with the core and structure well advanced.
The floor structure is fast approaching the top-out, and pouring of the Level 18 plant level is scheduled for mid-November.
The South and West window wall façade with integrated external planters has been installed in parallel with the structure, behind the perimeter safety screens, to Level 9. The North and East curtain wall façade is advancing steadily.
Internal fit out works of the high-end student accommodation rooms and facilities will soon commence once the prefabricated bathroom pods arrive on-site.
Works are on track for completion in 2022.
