Last week, Kane Constructions New South Wales hosted the South Sydney Rabbitohs Souths Cares student industry visit. Souths Cares is an independent not-for-profit institution, established to support the local community and address social needs across the South Sydney region.
Eight students from Matraville Sports High School and South Sydney High School joined Kane on-site at the Lindfield Village Green project. The students were able to observe project operations, trades, and health and safety on-site.
Following the project inspection, the team returned to the Kane Sydney Waterloo head office for lunch and a discussion on the various career pathways available in construction. This was a great opportunity to interact with the wider Kane team.
A fantastic experience for the students, and we hope to see them come through Kane’s work experience program in due course.
