Kane is delighted to be building the new St Vincent's Private Hospital Fitzroy project. The tower crane has been erected, and the early works project is well underway with the team on track to reach completion next month.
The Kane and St Vincent’s relationship has a long history, and dates back to the mid-90’s where Kane was involved in the original tower extension. The new 12-storey building, adjacent to the existing private hospital, comprises two basement levels and a link bridge to the existing hospital. The scope includes refurbishing the adjacent eight-level hospital tower and heritage restoration works to the East Hill Hotel.
The team have managed a number of complexities with existing conditions on-site involving the undergrounding of power and relocation of tram poles to allow a clear space for the tower crane.

The project is due to reach Practical Completion in mid-2025.
