This week, the Victorian division got together for our regular all staff quarterly construction meeting. We kicked things off with some exciting updates on our National Safety Campaign and introduced July’s focus: “Lifting Operations.” A special thank you to Brandon Hitch, CEO of the Crane Industry Council of Australia for his compelling presentation on crane operations.
Select staff then presented important WHS, environment, HR, and NCC compliance updates. The morning wrapped up with our project teams sharing valuable "lessons learnt" insights and case studies packed with technical learnings to benefit the group and our current projects.
But it wasn’t all work and no play! After a morning of insightful presentations, the fun really began. Our entire team was split into smaller groups for an epic battle of wits with four rounds of trivia. For those who preferred some outdoor fun, we had barefoot lawn bowls – the competition was strong, and with no sight of rain, it was the perfect way to unwind and refresh for a busy an exciting remainder of the year.
