Joanne Farrell, ACT General Manager at Kane Constructions, has been named the winner of the Professional Excellence Award – Projects over $60m at the 2025 ACT Australian Institute of Building (AIB) Awards, acknowledging the delivery of one of our country’s most significant projects.
Joanne led the delivery of the technically complex and historically significant New Southern Entrance at the Australian War Memorial. Balancing heritage preservation with modern construction excellence, she oversaw a project that redefined visitor experience while maintaining full operational continuity of the Memorial.
