This year’s nominees represent a cross-section of Kane’s national expertise, from safety leadership and operational excellence to project delivery and business improvement.
Clare English, Head of Safety, has been nominated for the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Assurance Award.
Clare led the development and rollout of Kane’s first National Safety Campaign, a data-driven and inclusive initiative that has transformed the way safety is understood and practiced across the business. Her work has set a new benchmark for engagement, accountability and performance.
Olivia Sioukas, Project Engineer on the Angliss Hospital Expansion Stage 2 project, is nominated for the Young Achiever Award.
As Project Engineer on the Angliss Hospital Expansion Stage 2 project, Olivia has emerged as a calm and capable leader, driving collaboration and clarity across a complex live hospital environment. She has streamlined communication, strengthened relationships, and maintained seamless progress under pressure. Her composure, initiative and commitment to excellence have earned the respect of colleagues, clients and subcontractors alike, reflecting the leadership qualities recognised by the Young Achiever Award.
Valentina Grbic, Contracts Administrator, is nominated for the Award for Achievement in Construction (General Building).
As a Contracts Administrator and Kane Champion, Valentina has played a key role in strengthening Kane’s business systems and compliance practices. Through her leadership in procurement and contract administration, she continues to drive collaboration, mentorship and continual improvement across the business.
