On Sunday, 25 May, the Kane NSW team stepped up to the challenge of the 2025 Balmoral Burn, a demanding race up one of Sydney’s steepest streets.
A special congratulations goes to Paul Calabro, Whittaker Downey, Will Beck and Harry Walker who raced to victory in the Construction and Building relay category, securing a well-earned first place. Their incredible effort reflects the drive and determination that defines our team.
Established by Wallabies legend Phil Kearns, the Balmoral Burn is more than just a race. It is a major community event raising funds for the Humpty Dumpty Foundation, which provides life-saving medical equipment for children's hospitals and health services across Australia.
We are also proud of our other NSW team members who took part in the ‘No Burn’ category, walking the steep course with grit and purpose. Their participation speaks volumes about the values we hold at Kane, teamwork, contribution and community support.
Whether running for the podium or walking for the cause, our team showed what it means to turn up with heart.
Congratulations to everyone who took part!
