NSW project leaders recognised at 2026 Australian Institute of Building Awards

29th July, 2026

Kane Constructions NSW is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of two of our project leaders, Nathan Parris and Chris Chau, who were recognised at the 2026 Australian Institute of Building (AIB) Awards in Sydney.

The AIB Awards recognise individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, professionalism and excellence in project delivery, celebrating the people who continue to raise the standard across Australia's construction industry.

Nathan Parris received the Professional Excellence Award – Commercial $25–$60 Million for his leadership on the Parramatta Eels Centre of Excellence. Nathan's collaborative leadership style, strong client focus and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes have been instrumental to the success of the project and made him a deserving recipient of this prestigious award.

Chris Chau received Professional Excellence Awards in both the Commercial $25–$60 Million and Sustainability categories for his leadership on the Children's Hospital at Westmead Car Park project. His ability to successfully deliver a complex healthcare project while embedding sustainable construction practices and fostering a collaborative team environment reflects the high standards of leadership recognised by these awards.

These achievements are a reflection of the exceptional people across Kane NSW who continue to deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients, project partners and communities. Congratulations to Nathan and Chris on this well-deserved recognition.
