Our Team

Richard is Joint Managing Director of Kane Constructions and a Director of the business, with more than 20 years of experience at Kane and a career grounded in project delivery.

He joined Kane in 2005 and has since played a key role in the delivery, commercial performance and continued development of the business. Richard was appointed Joint Managing Director in 2017.

With deep practical construction knowledge, strong commercial judgement and extensive experience in complex project environments, Richard is closely involved in major projects, key client relationships and commercial decision-making across the business.

He is known for his practical approach, negotiation skills and focus on delivering successful project outcomes while maintaining strong commercial discipline and long-term relationships with clients, consultants and project teams.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Building Engineering) from Victoria University and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Melbourne.
