Kane Constructions has completed the new Birranga College in Clyde North, delivering a contemporary secondary school that will support the rapidly growing community in Melbourne's south-east. Formerly known as Clyde Creek North Secondary School, the project was delivered as part of the Victorian Government's New Schools 2026 program and achieved practical completion ahead of the start of Term 1, 2026.

The purpose-built campus provides flexible, modern learning environments designed to support students from Years 7 to 12. The development comprises four key building types, including administration, learning, science and technology facilities, each designed using the Victorian School Building Authority's standardised template approach to create adaptable, future-focused education spaces.

Extensive external works complement the buildings and provide high-quality recreation and community facilities. These include landscaped outdoor areas, hard courts, a soccer pitch and on-site car parking, creating a welcoming and functional campus for students, staff and visitors.

Designed to accommodate a long-term enrolment of 1,200 students, with capacity to support peak enrolments of up to 1,750 students through relocatable learning spaces, Birranga College has been master planned to meet the needs of one of Victoria's fastest growing communities while providing the flexibility to adapt as enrolment demands evolve.
