Kane Constructions is delivering the $87 million Glen Waverley Civic Precinct Project for the City of Monash, creating a new civic, cultural and community destination within the Glen Waverley Activity Centre.
The redevelopment includes a contemporary library with flexible learning spaces, a civic hall, community meeting and event facilities, council office accommodation, landscaped public areas and supporting car parking.
Delivered under a Design and Construct contract, the project involves the demolition and redevelopment of existing facilities within a busy urban precinct. Construction requires careful management of site constraints, pedestrian access and surrounding operations to minimise disruption to the local community.
Designed to support Glen Waverley's continued growth, the completed precinct will provide modern, adaptable facilities that encourage learning, community connection and civic participation.
Construction commenced in 2026, with completion scheduled for July 2028.
