Kane Constructions was engaged by the Department of Housing, Local Government, Planning and Public Works to deliver the Design and Construct social housing project in Alexandra Hills.
Kane delivered a three-storey multi-residential building incorporating 20 units. These units provide accommodation to young people struggling to find and sustain long-term housing while they continue their education and training. The building features 18 one-bedroom Gold units and two one-bedroom Platinum units. Additionally, it includes shared landscaped areas and 21 car spaces in the undercroft car park.
Conceptually designed by DM2 Architecture, the building was delivered by HAL Architects to complement the surrounding neighbourhood’s build form.
