Kane Constructions has been awarded the Design and Construct contract to deliver the Blackall Street Social Housing project alongside Churches of Christ Housing Services.
The Kane project team will deliver the four-level social housing building incorporating 41 units, a car park, and a community centre. In total, there will be 25 one-bedroom Gold units, six two-bedroom Gold units and nine one-bedroom Platinum units. Additional areas will consist of a caretaker’s unit, a 103m2 community centre, a 69m2 office and 45 car spaces.
The building is architecturally designed by Deicke Richards to complement the existing low-density build form in the neighbourhood.
