Construction of a new highly specialised test facility for the Defence Science and Technology Organisation located at Fishermans Bend.
This project included the construction of a new test cell and all the associated services including air processing plant, fuel storage facilities, load banks etc.
The new test support facility supports research programs undertaken by the Air Vehicles Division and Maritime Platforms Division relating to engine and alternate power source management (fuel purification systems and aircraft and maritime engine fuel components such as batteries, fuel cells, hydrogen engine systems).
The project was delivered under the Department of Defence HC-1 form of contract.
