Kane Constructions has completed the $110 million Iglu Flagstaff Station student accommodation development at 350 William Street, Melbourne.
Delivered under a Design and Construct contract for Iglu, the project comprises three interconnected tower forms rising 11, 20 and 24 levels, with a total of 485 rooms across 443 studios and 21 twin-shared apartments.
Located opposite Flagstaff Station and moments from Flagstaff Gardens and Melbourne’s CBD, the development provides students with convenient access to public transport, universities and city amenities.
The completed facility includes a range of private and shared accommodation options alongside communal spaces designed to support student living, including study areas, social lounges, a gym and outdoor terraces.
The project was delivered on a highly constrained inner-city site, requiring careful planning, coordination and management of construction activities within a busy CBD environment.
Completion of Iglu Flagstaff Station adds another purpose-built student accommodation project to Kane’s growing residential portfolio and builds on our ongoing relationship with Iglu.
