The successful delivery of building projects in remote areas of Queensland requires meticulous planning and the ability to effectively engage with the local community.
Kane recently delivered an outstanding result for Queensland Health and the far western community of Mitchell in the delivery of the Multipurpose Health Facility for Mitchell Hospital ahead of time and within budget.
The project incorporated private rooms, nursing facilities, common areas and over 2,000m2 of landscaped gardens designed to assist in patient rehabilitation. Not only did Kane leave the town with a fantastic new Health facility; our Site Manager’s wife also established the inaugural Mitchell choir!
As well as being finished on schedule, it was very pleasing to see that the project came in under budget; this is a great credit to our Council staff, project manager Struxi Design and contractor Kane Constructions.
