Kane Constructions has been awarded the $14 million Design & Construct contract to deliver the NSW Rugby Union Centre of Excellence.

The new two storey Centre of Excellence will feature a brand new international standard rugby field, 500m2 gym facility, 3 change rooms, medical and rehabilitation facilities, team theatrette, analysis room, recovery spaces (hot and cold pools and sauna) and administration spaces for the NSW Rugby Union (NSWRU) and the Waratahs.

The project located at David Phillips Sports Complex, Daceyville will service rugby around the state, becoming a central hub for games at all levels from the professional arm through to academy and grassroots programs.

The facility will be a great asset in serving the community, creating strong development pathways and contribute to the overall success of the Waratahs and grassroots rugby in NSW.

The project commenced in August 2021 and will reach completion by the end of July 2022.
