Kane Constructions NSW has successfully delivered a major upgrade at St Francis Xavier’s Catholic Primary School, Lurnea, in collaboration with Sydney Catholic Schools, St Francis Xavier’s Catholic Primary School and MostynCopper.
Designed by JDH Architects, the redevelopment includes construction of a new General Learning Area building featuring contemporary, flexible classrooms and a large undercroft to accommodate future expansion. The works also comprised alterations and additions to the existing hall, new covered walkways, and an extension to Block A to deliver a new canteen.
Significant site improvements were undertaken, including the introduction of a new kiss-and-drop zone with associated road widening, improved level transitions across the campus, and enhanced accessibility throughout.
The completed project aligns with the school’s masterplan and provides modern, functional facilities that better support teaching, learning and community use.
