Kane Constructions is pleased to be appointed as Design and Construct contractor of the Stromlo Leisure Centre for ACT Infrastructure Finance and Capital Works.
The team comprising Cox Architecture, Sellick Consultants and Northrop Engineers, is busy progressing the design ahead of works commencing on site.
When completed in 2020, the centre will provide first class facilities to the local community including:
- An eight lane 50 metre pool, capable of being split into two 25 metre short course pools
- A 20 metre program/warm water multipurpose pool for learn to swim classes, exercise and rehabilitation activities
- Supplementary facilities to support the pool including front of house areas, amenities, plant/store rooms and general circulation areas
- A splash park and
- A gymnasium
