Kane Constructions Victoria is proud to be delivering the early works for the Australian Institute for Infectious Disease (AIID), a landmark facility in Melbourne’s Biomedical Precinct.
Last week AIID and the University of Melbourne leaders visited the site to inspect demolition progress and view the latest designs for the new AIID facility.
As the builder for the early works, Kane is on track to complete demolition by the end of this year, paving the way for the construction of the 15-storey facility to commence.
A national first for infectious disease research, the AIID will provide Australia with a centralised capability to detect, prevent, and respond to future infectious disease threats.
Kane is proud to contribute to this nationally significant project and look forward to seeing it progress.
