Kane Constructions has marked a major milestone at Iglu William Street, celebrating the topping out of the new student accommodation development in Melbourne’s CBD.
Our project team would like to acknowledge the collective effort that has brought the building to full height, working closely in partnership with PCF, TTW, Bates Smart.
Senior Project Manager Steve Wilson acknowledged the milestone, sharing:
“Topping out is always a great moment onsite. It is a chance to pause and recognise the teamwork, commitment and collaboration that have brought us to this point. The structure is now complete, and our focus turns to the façade, fitout and bringing the internal spaces to life.”
The Iglu William Street project includes tiered levels eleven, twenty and twenty-four storeys, designed by Bates Smart and delivered under a design and construct contract for Iglu Student Accommodation. Once complete, the new facility will provide high-quality student accommodation with shared social spaces, modern amenities and strong transport connections.
Kane looks forward to continuing its partnership with Iglu, the consultant team and subcontractors as the project moves into the final stages of delivery.
