Last Sunday, members from our Kane NSW team joined more than 90,000 runners for Sydney’s celebrated City2Surf, Australia’s largest and most loved fun run. This year delivered the heaviest race-day rain in more than a decade, adding an extra challenge to the iconic 14 km journey.
Despite the downpour, the atmosphere remained electric. Runners splashed through puddles, laughed under umbrellas and pushed on from Hyde Park, up the infamous “Heartbreak Hill” and down to the cheering crowds at Bondi Beach. The Kane team powered through alongside tens of thousands of others, embracing the spirit, camaraderie and challenge that make the City2Surf so special.
