Kane Constructions NSW recently hosted a Kane Connect Cadet Session at our Canterbury Bulldogs Centre of Excellence project in Belmore, bringing together our cadets and young professionals for an interactive learning experience focused on mass timber construction.
Delivered in partnership with Savcon, the session explored the growing role of Mass Timber and Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) in the construction industry. Attendees gained valuable insight into the benefits of this innovative construction methodology, as well as Savcon's involvement throughout the project lifecycle, from design and supply through to manufacturing and installation.
The session concluded with a guided site walk, providing the opportunity to see the timber installation process firsthand and connect the technical concepts discussed during the presentation with real-world construction activities.
Kane Connect sessions are designed to support the ongoing development of our people by providing opportunities to learn from industry specialists, strengthen technical knowledge and gain practical experience on live projects.
