Kane Constructions has completed the new four-storey Ambulatory Care Centre at Northern Hospital Epping, marking the completion of Stage 1 of the Northern Hospital Redevelopment Project.
Delivered for the Victorian Health Building Authority in partnership with Northern Health, the purpose-built facility provides a dedicated setting for outpatient and ambulatory services, clinical care and hospital administration.
The new Ambulatory Care Centre supports a range of specialist outpatient services, including allied health, pathology, respiratory medicine and dialysis, helping provide timely and convenient care closer to home for Melbourne’s growing northern communities.
Located within the existing Northern Hospital campus, the project was delivered in a live hospital environment, requiring careful planning, staging and close collaboration with stakeholders to minimise disruption to ongoing clinical operations.
A new ground-level link connects the Ambulatory Care Centre with the existing hospital, improving connectivity across the campus.
The completion of the Ambulatory Care Centre represents a significant milestone in the broader Northern Hospital Redevelopment project and Kane is proud to have delivered this important new healthcare facility and to contribute to the continued expansion of health services for Melbourne’s north.
