Kane Constructions is proud to feature in A New Anzac, the SBS documentary series following the redevelopment of the Australian War Memorial.
As builder of the new Southern Entrance and Parade Ground, Kane delivered two of the most publicly visible, technically complex and symbolically significant elements of this nationally important project.
The series provides a behind-the-scenes look at one of Australia’s most significant cultural projects, capturing the complexity, care and collaboration required to deliver works within a live heritage environment of national importance.
Kane’s broader scope also included structural and civil works to the heritage-listed Main Building, helping reshape how visitors arrive at, move through and experience the Memorial.
Featured in Episode 1, with further coverage in Episode 2, the documentary showcases the qualities that define Kane’s work: delivering complex construction in live environments, working respectfully within places of heritage and significance, collaborating closely with clients, consultants and stakeholders, and applying engineering insight to resolve major buildability challenges.
The documentary reflects the commitment, precision and care shown by everyone involved in delivering this nationally significant project.
Episode 1 premiered on 10 April 2026. This series is in 4 parts, featuring every Friday for 4 weeks.
