The Parramatta Eels Centre of Excellence and Community Centre has been recognised as the Outstanding Sport and Recreation Project at The Dialogue’s Boomtown! Project of the Year Awards.
Presented annually by the Western Sydney Leadership Dialogue, the Boomtown! awards recognise projects that deliver outstanding outcomes for Greater Western Sydney and contribute to the region’s social, economic and community growth.
Delivered for the Parramatta Eels, the Centre of Excellence and Community Centre forms part of a landmark sporting precinct that supports both elite athlete development and community participation in rugby league across the region.
The facility provides a world-class high-performance environment for the club’s NRL, NRLW and elite pathways programs while also creating a vibrant hub for the wider Western Sydney community. The development includes a 1,500-seat grandstand, elite training and gymnasium facilities, aquatic recovery pools, rehabilitation and medical spaces, meeting and education areas, and public community spaces.
Designed to support both professional sport and grassroots participation, the precinct also features multiple rugby league fields and facilities that enable the Parramatta Eels to expand community programs, pathways and engagement with local clubs and schools.
Kane Constructions was proud to deliver the project in collaboration with Parramatta Eels, Mostyn Copper, Waypoint and HB Arch.
This recognition highlights the strength of collaboration across the project team and the important role the facility will play in supporting sport, community connection and the continued growth of Western Sydney.
