Kane Constructions has successfully delivered the $67 million major upgrade of Birrong Boys High School and Birrong Girls High School.
In partnership with Turner & Townsend, School Infrastructure NSW and Tanner Kibble Denton Architects, the project has provided new and refurbished facilities to support the learning needs of the local community.
At Birrong Boys High School, works included the demolition of Blocks J and K, services upgrades, construction of a new three-storey teaching facility, refurbishment and extension of the existing hall with a new COLA, refurbishment of Blocks A and D for the Student Support Unit, and landscaping works.
At Birrong Girls High School, the scope comprised demolition of Block A, new services infrastructure including a substation, construction of a three-storey teaching facility, new hall and COLA, refurbishment of Blocks B and H, and extensive landscaping.
These upgrades have transformed both campuses, delivering contemporary, flexible learning environments for students and staff.
