Kane Constructions has been awarded the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) Phase and Early Works contract for the City of Gold Coast’s Music Hall project at Surfers Paradise.
The project will transform the existing Surfers Paradise Transit Centre into a vibrant cultural and entertainment destination for the Gold Coast community, creating a venue for live music, community events and major cultural activities.
As part of the early works phase, Kane will undertake remediation of the existing five-level basement structure while preparing the site for the future Music Hall development.
The completed facility will feature a major auditorium with capacity for up to 2,500 people, designed with a flexible floor plan capable of accommodating multiple event formats including banquet, cabaret and town hall configurations. The venue will also include a wrap-around mezzanine balcony, outdoor garden space, food and beverage offerings, back-of-house facilities and an upgraded five-level basement car park.
Once complete, the Music Hall will provide the Gold Coast community with a world-class venue for artists, events and business functions, helping attract national and international touring performers to the region.
