Design and construction of the new Chancellery at Monash University.

The new 10,000m2 building comprises a single basement level for car parking, ground level public spaces, function room and engagement space, two levels of flexible office space and a third level to house University executives.

The striking design includes a feature steel sunshade screen and GRC cornice surrounding the building, including a glass roof and feature column STOA to the south and east. The building incorporates Passive House principles, including an airtight facade and is in accordance with the Monash University EcoAccord. Internally there are multiple large atrium spaces framed by mass timber balustrades.

Works commenced in September 2018 and reached completion for the 2020 university calendar.
