Kane Constructions was awarded the $135 million Lump Sum contract to deliver a 30,000m2 five level resort building within a 7.6 hectare redevelopment zone that included the existing RACV clubhouse, the 110 space car park and the golf driving range.
The new resort building sits just south of the clubhouse and brings together 120 new accommodation rooms, a main restaurant for 140 guests, a lounge for 60, a café for 100, a kids play room and a range of indoor and outdoor sitting areas. The development also incorporates underground and at grade parking, conference and function spaces for 500 people, syndicate and breakout areas for 100, a pro shop with change rooms and lockers, an indoor pool and spa, a gym and a full day spa.
Landscaped areas, extended pathways and upgraded infrastructure to all RACV assets form part of the completed works.
Works commenced in December 2015 and completion was achieved in March 2018.
