Kane Constructions has been awarded the Lump Sum contract to deliver the City of Moreton Bay’s redevelopment.

The project will revitalise this prominent coastal precinct through the construction of a new two-storey seaside pavilion and significant upgrades to the surrounding public realm. Designed to strengthen the connection between the beachfront and community spaces, the redevelopment will create a vibrant destination for locals and visitors alike.

The pavilion will comprise three hospitality tenancies, an elevated event deck and public amenities, providing flexible spaces for dining, gatherings and community events. External works include extensive landscaping, outdoor seating areas, shade structures, public changing facilities and an upgraded car park to enhance accessibility and functionality across the site.

This project is funded through the South East Queensland (SEQ) Liveability Fund, a commitment under the SEQ City Deal. The SEQ City Deal is a partnership between the Australian Government, Queensland Government and Council of Mayors (SEQ) that will deliver long-lasting benefits to the region.

Once complete, the Suttons Beach Pavilion & Public Space redevelopment will reinforce the beachfront as a key recreational and social hub for the Moreton Bay region, with completion anticipated in early 2027.
